i finally passed the national boards for registered nursing after relentless study and many a sleepless, blanket-tossed night.

I'm glad to have taken part in the credit for your RN certification (twice!). If there's anything else awesome that happens in your life that I can take partial credit for, I'm happy to do so :) Seriously, though. You worked hard at this, and you're going to have an awesome career. Buy a cake, on me. When we meet in person, I'll write you a check. Congratulations!!!!!!

Delia, congratulations on this difficult achievement.
As one who has recently passed through the gauntlet of the western-industrial-medical- complex I know how much of a difference the nursing staff can make. I am sure you will bring human warmth, compassion and humor to all those patients fortunate enough to come under your care. May you develop great skills in managing doctors!
