Alas! Alack! I've been tagged by Darshan AND Obi (you sneaky devils!) to participate in yon happy viral blog meme!
So verily, verily: here’s the personal goods...
1) I was born in Japan. (...and made there, too!) ;)
2) I once had a solo close encounter with Pope John Paul and Michael Stipe of REM within
10 minutes of each other while carrying a bucket of flowers and a pitcher of water down Park Avenue at 68th Street. (...stay tuned to the blog for the full upcoming story details!)
3) In junior high, I got respect (and protection!) from all the school gang members by being able to breakdance–most especially pop-locking the “Robot” (...and still can!)...AND I had a tail.
(No, not on my ass! At the back of my head...with my hair. It was like...a most excellent 80’s thing...Iike, totally fer sure!)
4) Years ago, I used to loathe smushing spiders when they would show up in my home. So I learned to catch them. Now, I am a superb spider catcher. My next project: Texas wild cockroach taming! ;)
5) You know the little “Inner Voice” you’re supposed to listen to when it comes to following your heart?...You know, the one you read about in all the self-help books?...Your Inner Voice?
...well...that’s me.
Yes, it’s true. I am your Inner Voice. Little Delia. I am the one telling you to love yourself and take care of yourself...and to keep buying chocolate almond milk no matter what, so manufacturers will keep making it and grocery stores everywhere will continue to sell it! Little Delia needs her chocolate almond milk even if she’s broke down on the side of the road without gas in Pignuckle, Idaho...so get your money’s worth out of all those self-help books, People, and listen to your
Inner Voice...love yourself, care for yourself, and for crickets' sake...
BUY CHOCOLATE ALMOND MILK!

Umm…hey, Dave…Inner Voice here…the chapstick is between the sitting pillows on your couch. It fell out of your pocket on New Year's Eve when you were happily, drunkenly making out with someone you can no longer remember. :D

p.s. if you find that the chapstick is not where I have instructed, that is because your clever doggie found it first and has sold it on the blackmarket for kibble. Keep a close eye on that one, Dave…sneaky, very sneaky! :D
